Veal Recall

A Bristolville Ohio company has recalled 772 pounds of veal because it may be contaminated with E. Coli.

Mahan Packing Company Inc. says the meat was sold to three stores between December 16th and Dec 21st:

*Rulli Brothers, 4331 Kirk Road in Austintown

*Zagreb Meats, 6706 St. Clair in Cleveland

*Sebastian Meats, 1979 W. 25th in Cleveland

A positive test for E. Coli was confirmed by the Ohio Department of Agriculture in a sample taken from the company earlier this month. There have been no reported illnesses from the products being voluntarily recalled.

You are being asked to return the product to the store where it was purchased.

According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention E. Coli can cause bloody diarrhea and stomach pain among other things.
