Beth Galambos, Marketing and Public Relations Manager says it's another way to offer services to those who need them.
"We plan to keep the services of WCRS the same as they are right now. We will end up housing the radio station here at our service center on Waterloo Road and nothing should change as far as the service that is provided," she says.
Galambos says the service relies heavily on volunteers and she is hoping to keep the 60-80 current volunteers on board.
The move is expected to take place at the end of the month.
The service provides daily reading of newspaper, current magazines and special public broadcast.
The Akron agency would be the third in the state to offer this type of reading service.
