Parents with scheduled job interviews can get free child care at the Akron Area YMCA's seven full-day state licensed Early Care and Education centers. Six of the centers are in Akron and one is in Cuyahoga Falls.
YMCA Child Care staff will watch children for up to 2 and a half hours while parents are on their interview. Children must be at least 6 weeks old. For more information, contact Mary Hartz, vice president of child care services, at 330-376-1335 or email maryh@akronymca.org.
