You must be without health insurance or underinsured to be eligible for this free screening.
Parking will be provided across the street from the Heart & Vascular Center at the Akron
General Ambulatory Care Center.

The
screenings are for those without health insurance or who are
underinsured. The goal is to help identify and educate individuals at
high risk for heart disease, atrial fibrillation (Afib), stroke,
peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
and develop ways to increase health and prevent illness. 20-30 minute
appointments are necessary. Please note that an eight-hour fasting is
necessary for AAA screening. Please call 330-344-2462 to make an
appointment for this life-saving screening. Parking will be provided
