2nd Chance Bus Pass Program

GUIDELINES

For a free 1-day bus pass:

• Show proof of a felony conviction.
• Fill out appropriate paperwork.
• Register for and attend an ex-offender job seeker class at the Goodwill Industries of Akron on Mondays from 9:30am-10:15am at 570 East Waterloo Road, Akron, OH 44333.

In order to be eligible for a 31 day bus pass:

• Complete 1-day bus pass requirements.
• Provide documentation that you have completed a job seeking skills/job readiness program from a reentry program or a vocational program (such as Job Center workshops).
• Attend 3 job club meetings at the Goodwill Industries of Akron on Mondays from 1:00pm-1:30pm at 570 East Waterloo Road, Akron, OH 44333.
• Submit a resume.
• Schedule a meeting with Goodwill staff to go over your resume and discuss other job leads and opportunities.
