Library Crossword Puzzle Tournament

Are you ready to pit your skill against New York Times editor Will Shortz' challenging crossword puzzles?

Join other enthusiasts at the Akron Crossword Puzzle Tournament Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Main Library, 60 S. High St., Akron.

Participants will solve unpublished crossword puzzles provided by Will Shortz. There will be three stages with progressively more challenging puzzles and a final round that will feature the winners from each stage. The contestants will be judged on speed and accuracy. Prizes will be awarded. All levels of crossword enthusiasts are encouraged to participate.

This event is free and open to the public but participants must register by calling (330) 643-9040 or emailing hhdiv@akronlibrary.org. Free parking is available in the Market/High Street deck.
