Watermain Break Could Force Louisville Residents to Boil Water

LOUISVILLE, OH (WOIO) - Residents in Louisville are experiencing a watermain failure which will affect residents from North Chapel at Frana Clara, north to the city limits. Once water is restored, residents in the areas around North Chapel from Frana Clara to the north city limits will be under a boil alert for the next 48 to 72 hours.


Louisville has no evidence at this time that the water system is contaminated, The possibility however does exist so this advisory is being issued as a precaution. Until you receive information from the water department that your water service is free of contaminants, you should boil your water before consuming it or use bottled water.
