H1N1 Vaccine Eligibility will be Expanded to all Ohioans Beginning Monday, December 14, 2009

The Ohio Department of Health announced on Friday, December 4, 2009 that H1N1 vaccine eligibility will be expanded to all Ohioans beginning Monday, December 14, 2009. For H1N1 clinic information in Summit County, please go to www.summitflu.org

The influenza activity level in Ohio continues to be widespread. There have been 40 confirmed pandemic A (H1N1) influenza-related deaths in Ohio. During the 2009-2010 season, there have been 7 influenza-associated pediatric mortality reports of which 3 had confirmed 2009 pandemic A (H1N1).
