Summit county H1N1 flu shots

The Summit County Health District will hold an H1N1 vaccine clinic on Thursday, October 29th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at The Chapel in Green located at 1800 Raber Road in Green.

The vaccine is free and will be given on a first come first served basis. At this time, no thimerosal-free doses for children 6-35 months will be available.

People who received a seasonal Flu-Mist vaccine must wait 28 days to receive a H1N1 Flu-Mist, however, they may receive a shot.

The vaccination is voluntary. Call 330-926-1801 with questions about this clinic. As a limited amount of vaccine is available, current vaccination efforts will focus on the target groups per Centers of Disease Control recommendations
