Help with School Uniforms
Akron parents can find some relief if they're looking for a school shopping bargain. Goodwill Industries always has clothing for school age children, but area Spokeswoman Beth Galambos says they're working hard to cater to Akron Public Schools' uniform requirements.

There are special racks of clothes that feature clothing that fits into the district's dress code standards. Galambos says most items can be picked up for $2 each and she's anticipating plenty of interest after a great response last year.

"We started a little late, so we decided this year to get a head start," said Galambos. Galambos says the inventory changes every day. The Goodwill retail stores in Akron, Lakemore and Tallmadge have the clothing that fits Akron Public Schools uniform policy set aside.
