The best way to build an strong kids, strong families, strong communities is to get the community back on its feet any way we can," Mary Hartz Vice President of Child Care Services for the Akron Area YMCA said.
Parents must call the day of their needed assistance to make sure the child care center has an opening for the children and allow at least 20 minutes to complete state required forms.
The YMCA also asks for the name of the company where the interview is scheduled, the name and phone number of the interviewer and permission to contact them.

Age requirements vary at the seven different locations.
